David KRACOV

An early starter, David Kracov won two first prizes in a drawing contest at the age of 12. After graduating from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design in 1990, he left his hometown and headed to Los Angeles. After approaching all of the city’s animation studios, he got a job on a Ralph Bakshi film, Cool World, and climbed the ranks to become head of the special effects department. David Kracov started working for Disney Animation, Don Bluth Animation and Rich Animation, leading to his involvement in films like Aladdin and The Lion King. Today, David Kracov is the exclusive creator of sculptures of Warner Bros’ Looney Tunes characters and Tim Burton characters.
