SUPPORT FOR ARTISTIC PRODUCTION – RAPHAËL MAMAN,”MÉCANIQUE D’UN MUR”
The RAJA Collection – Contemporary Art is pleased to support the production of the artistic installation Mécanique d’un mur by artist Raphaël Maman, on the occasion of two different exhibitions. This artwork is made with hundreds of RAJA cardboard boxes that have the exact dimension of concrete blocks, stacked on top of each other using mechanical grease.
“Throughout the exhibition, the grease seeps into the cardboard fibers, revealing the usual effects of mortar on the solidity of a construction. Like a large architectural machinery, the spectator can then observe the entire mechanics of a wall.” – Raphaël Maman
