Taka’s paintings are characterized by their sensitive, harmonious compositions that elegantly combine shapes, materials and colours. The artist uses marble dust, mineral pigments and gold leaf, which he affixes to wood or canvas. His universe is marked by the traditional opposition of yin and yang, femininity and virility, all through overlapping and suggestion.
