Cátia Esteves’ interest in the use of light in architecture informs the creation of her own pieces: handmade lighting fixtures, made from recycled paper, cardboard, polystyrene and iron wire. For Gota . C, she was inspired by the metaphor of the last drop of water, that ephemeral moment where it detaches and falls under the vertiginous force of gravity.
