Danielle PRIJIKORSKI

Sans titre

2006

Collage of gouache, cardboard, ink on paper
70 x 40 cm

“I paint because I’m afraid, and it’s reassuring to put things together, put things in order, and create a degree of harmony around me.” Danielle Prijikorski’s art is incredibly rich and completely unified. She employs all sorts of materials and enjoys repeating Picasso’s assertion that, “If you can’t do everything with nothing, you can’t do anything with everything”.
