Pieces on paper, the fruit of collage, recycle the correspondence that arrives every day in the artist’s post box. Here, junk mail is cut up, deconstructed and mixed in with documents from another era. This paper architecture superimposes potentially very personal stories with the most impersonal of information. The joyous organization that oversees the assembly of this anonymous correspondence goes against the rigidity embodied by the bureaucratization of tasks and relations between workers.
