Spiritual, playful and enigmatic, Cole Morgan’s paintings seem like mysterious maps to the unexplored areas of the human mind. Imagination is predominant in his oeuvre. Lines evaporate into droplets whilst words mock us outright before disappearing behind ghostly expanses of colour. Despite the seemingly unchecked appearance of the unexpected, each painting consists of a motif that has been meticulously forged with care.
