The RAJA Collection is delighted to support the installation Rainbow Ribboned Bridge by artist Trevor Yeung, presented as part of his exhibition “Jardin des neuf soleils” at the CAPC de Bordeaux (March 24-September 20, 2026 – curated by Cédric Fauq).

“For his first museum exhibition in Europe, Hong Kong-based artist Trevor Yeung has been invited to take over the CAPC’s main nave to display his world imbued with magic and strangeness. The artist transforms the architecture of the former colonial goods warehouse into an artificial landscape, like a large-scale vivarium composed of a double rainbow, mutant suns, and luminous mushrooms (…)

Trevor Yeung employs botanical ecology, horticulture, and aquarium systems as metaphorical devices that convey the emancipation of desires within the realm of human relationships. His work, drawing on both personal experiences and mythology, spans from the photographic medium to large-scale immersive environments. By orchestrating systems on different scales, Trevor Yeung examines the logics of control, interdependence, and vulnerability that shape our social and emotional structures.” (exhibition presentation)

A massive double-arched scaffolding structure rises in the museum’s nave, which is bathed entirely in green light for this exhibition. The RAJA Collection contributed to the production and activation of Rainbow Ribboned Bridge by providing nearly 29 kilometers of ribbon in six different colors: red, orange, yellow, blue, indigo, and violet. These ribbons are offered to exhibition visitors, who are invited to climb the structure and tie their ribbon to it while making a wish, accompanied by the sound of bells and chimes suspended from the steps.

Echoing the wishing trees found in many cultures and the wonder evoked by the sight of a double rainbow, the installation is thus filled with hope and wishes throughout the exhibition, allowing the public to collectively create a new rainbow.
