SUPPORT FOR ARTISTIC PRODUCTION – OLIVIER GROSSETÊTE – MILLÉNAIRE DE CAEN
After a sponsorship initiative in 2017, Collection RAJA – Art Contemporain is delighted to renew its support to artist Olivier Grossetête as part of the Millénaire de Caen 2025.
Between Thursday June 26 and Sunday June 29, 2025 (“Week-end Maritime”), Olivier Grossetête and his teams will build four monumental, ephemeral constructions made entirely of cardboard. RAJA, via the RAJA Collection, supplied over 5,500 cardboard boxes and almost 2,000 rolls of adhesive tape to create these impressive architectures, echoing the city of Caen and its history.
The cardboard boxes are assembled and cut by hundreds of volunteer “constructors” in workshops open to all, in a collective process of assembly and sharing. The Collection is delighted to help produce these works made entirely of cardboard, which, once assembled, will weigh several tons!
